New to TeamViewer? Here is what you need to know:

To have TeamViewer available for PCS support (it's free for your use), start a browser and go here:

https://www.teamviewer.com/en-us/download/windows

On the page, press the “Download” button – shown in the image below pointed to by the red arrow we added:

Team Viewer Download Page

A file gets downloaded. Depending upon your browser that happens in different ways.

In Google Chrome the downloads show at the top by an icon. Click that icon and then click on the program “TeamViewerQS.exe” to run it.

Chrome Download Indicator

For Microsoft Edge, click on the three dots at the top right to open the menu and then select “Downloads”. Locate the program “TeamViewerQS.exe” and run it.

Edge Browser Downloads

Other browser have similar methods. When you execute  the downloaded program Windows access control may ask “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your devices?”. You must allow it.

When the program starts you may see this:

TeamViewer license agreement

Tick the checkbox and then click the “Continue” button. Next, this window appears:

TeamViewer Main Screen

It may take a minute for the “Your ID” and “Password” section to be filled in. Just wait until it does. These are the credentials that PCS support will need to connect to your machine. Please leave Team Viewer open and have the ID and Password ready when you speak to them.
